"This was all things I could not have done myself and it put us far ahead of where we were. Thank you! If any of you need any help or volunteers, just ask us and we'll be glad to do whatever we can to give back. It was a great experience."
Linda & James Kelly
Dear Volunteers,
Through this letter I would like to express my gratitude to everyone of you who came to my house and worked on the bathroom remodel and backyard and all the rest.
You did exceptional work and for that I am very grateful and I also extend my gratitude to the Program Rebuilding together Petaluma who helps seniors like myself to improve our homes which otherwise we could not do it.
You made me feel like I was doing you a favor by letting you come to my house to help me. You treated me with such respect and dignity. To you angels, I send my respect and gratitude forever. May God bless you always.
Sincerely, Leslia Navarette
"I want to thank everyone involved in painting the Kenilworth Recreation Center. It looks great ! The young people were impressive, helpful, fun and great at team work. What a wonderful experience! The leadership and volunteerism you displayed proves a community can come together to make a difference for others. We did not receive one complaint and everyone contributed to the completion of the project until the end. Thank you!"
Jan Mandrell, City of Petaluma:
Words cannot express what a wonderful, fun and resourceful group of people the volunteers were. Our clients (The Recycle Center employees) were thrilled beyond belief to arrive at work on Monday and finds a whole new work place waiting for them. They have received many compliments from passersby on how much better the front looks. This upgrade was so overdue but was something we just could not have done ourselves. We cannot thank you enough. In case you missed it, in Saturday's Butter & Eggs Day Parade, the back of our O.A.D.S. float had a banner with these words "Special thanks to Rebuilding Together Petaluma, L.R. Wiley Construction and the 24 volunteers who rejuvenated our Recycling Center!"
Elizabeth Clary the Executive Director of O.A.D.S.
